Course details
Methodology course schedule in Seville: Monday to Friday, 9:15 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. (in-person/online)
Methodology course schedule in Malaga: Monday to Friday, 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. (in-person/online)
General objectives
- Analyze the main theories and methods of language learning.
- Plan a session or parts of a session, taking into account the syllabus, the needs of the different learners, and the available materials.
- Manage varied and balanced pair, group, and whole-class activities to achieve the session objectives.
- Evaluate students with clear feedback on their strengths and areas for improvement to prioritize individual work.
Teacher's portfolio
The teacher portfolio is the culmination of everything you have learned and developed during your teacher training course with us. You will need to submit it at the end of your course, and it will be used to determine your final grade and progress report. This grade is essential if you wish to receive the 6 official ECTS credits.
Program
After completing the methodology course, students can request a one-week internship within one year of course completion.
The internship week follows this structure:
Monday: Classroom observation, getting to know the group, and a mentoring session.
Tuesday–Friday: Participants will gradually increase their participation in the class, supervised by the instructor.
Each day will include a mentoring session to review the work completed and assign new tasks.
